What's the story Man-E-Faces?

Issue three of the UK Masters of the Universe Adventure magazine dealt with the rarely seen Man-E-Faces in a story titled "The Story of Man-E-Faces". I will post some more images from this story soon as it deals with the character in a very unique way, presenting him as a hermit who hides away from the populace of Eternia through fear of what he may do to them!

Hey James... when you post A4 scans from the comics, would it be possible for you to enlarge the image a bit? I guess other people don't have this problem as I've never seen anyone mention it, but the text appears tiny on my screen and almost illegible; I have to really strain my eyes to read it and even then I can only just make it out. I would be really grateful if you could enlarge the images, if it's not too much trouble! :)

I never had that issue but I knew about it so would be great to finally read the UK comics' version of the Man-E-Faces story!

Is it just me, or does he look a little like Prince Adam under that Skeletor mask?

An interesting origin for the character ... This type of story would have made a great intro. for "The Mystery Of Man-E-Faces," since the one thing lacking in the episode was that there was no history on how "Man-E" was created. Of course, the cartoon version would have had to be re-worked a little bit.

Also, I agree that Man-E-Faces looks like Prince Adam, here ... Upon seeing this image, it would have been hilarious if there was an episode where Adam or He-Man attempted to dress up as Skeletor (The way Man-E-Faces dressed up like Beast-Man in "The Shadow Of Skeletor"), to fool the villains! :)

The title of the performance, on the sign, "SKELE-HE-HE," is a riot, as well!

Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Another UK character that has Prince Adam looks. Even Snout Spout in his human form looked a bit like Adam.

I really love all the different Origin-versions to Man-E-Faces. This and the Annual version are really interesting.

Going to make a video about all I've found soon.
Thanks for posting this page, James! :)
