Throughout this month The Power and The Honor Foundation in conjunction with The He-Man and She-Ra Blog will be showcasing never-before-seen Filmation production artwork.
Although Fred Carrillo was a layout artist, his illustrations were unique in that they often summed up entire scenes, rather than breaking them down shot by shot. This created a feel for the episode, and gave the layout artists something beside the storyboards to look to when staging the individual shots. This piece of layout artwork by Carrillo, from the He-Man episode "The Heart of A Giant", sums up the scene in which The Keeper locates Cambro on his monitor.
